I'm proposing to work through the book "Revelation, Four Views: A Parallel Commentary" by Steve Gregg in several months of weekly meetings. Each group member will need to purchase the book and read a section in the book before each meeting.
Members will discuss and debate the various views. There will be no predetermined agenda or presentation. Each member is free to contend for or against any of the views or any points within those views in any meeting. The goal is for each participant to come to their own best understanding Revelation, whether it be from the idealist/spiritual, historicist, futurist, or preterist viewpoint. Members are free to draw from and bring into play other resources to advance or challenge any of the four frameworks or points within them as we move through the sections of Gregg's book.
Mike will participate and be the moderator to ensure everyone gets a chance to participate and no one dominates the discussion, and, will, if needed, pose questions or advance notions to generate discussion.
Please note that Dec. 5 will actually be the first meeting to start into the book. Come prepared to discuss the two introductions to the book.
