Code Island is back in action, and we're getting together next week!
I hope everyone got to spend some of this beautiful summer on the Island...Code, Rhode, Block or whatever. Beach life is a big part of why people live in RI, so it's only right that we took a break and got some sun.
Now, let's get back to work.
We're going to jumpstart the civic do-goodery next Tuesday, August 19th at Brown University's Tri-Lab, starting at 6pm. We'll jump right back into our ongoing projects, sharing updates on the two wiki projects, the budget visualizations and all the other efforts brigade members are working on. As a bonus, I'll give my spell-binding presentation, "All About GitHub."
What--other than a sunny day at Misquamicut--could be better?
Hope to see you next Tuesday,
Open to all! Join us to learn, create, hack, and do, all for the civic good!
