Rhode Island Wedding Group is an association of established wedding professionals devoted to connecting couples with high quality service providers and connecting industry professionals with their ideal clients through networking, collaboration, and education.
To be considered for membership, professionals must meet the following requirements:Four years in business/experience (in their applying category).Be a full-time wedding industry professionalBe fully insured and licensed according to industry laws and standards.Conduct a substantial amount of business with Rhode Island clients and vendors.
Revenue Growth: Members benefit from advertising placed by the Rhode Island Wedding Group, which can include website and on-line, print and venue advertisements. Members are committed to sharing referrals to other members to increase revenue.
Education: Guest speakers and educational opportunities will be presented at meetings and networking events.
Networking: Weekly meetings, site visits, client appreciation events, Board membership or joining a committee are all very important to the success of a RIWG member.
Support: Attend weekly meetings, social and client events and share best practices with other members. Learn and grow with each member of the RIWG leading to an extended sales team for your business.
As a non-profit association, Philanthropy is at the heart of every one of our events. All of the proceeds from our wedding shows and special events go towards supporting local charities and organizations. Past recipients include breast cancer awareness and treatment, service animal organization, and local colleges and universities. This kind of charitable giving is often not possible for individual professionals; Rhode Island wedding Group gives members the opportunity to work together for the greater good.
