Tabletop games at Nathan's House in Glen Allen

  • Jun 5, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Come on out to our friendly tabletop gaming sessions. Beginners, first-timers experts, and everyone in between is welcome.

Bring your Eurogames, gateway games, light weight games, and your whatever games. We are always teaching games here. There's no need to worry if you are unfamiliar with any of the games mentioned in the comments or elsewhere.

We have the amenities for four tables of gaming.

There is plenty of parking in front of the house and around the neighborhood. I always hate not knowing where I am going to park so I cobbled together a parking map. Click here for parking.

You can see the house game collection here: Nathan's Games

My intent is to provide snacks and beverages, but I encourage you to bring some goodies as well. The earlier I can get RSVPs the more creative I can be food wise.

Lastly if you are going to be late (15 minutes or more) or suddenly not able attend please PLEASE say so in the comments or change your RSVP. I always try to check this area 15 minutes before just in case of last minute changes. Not doing so affects the way we break into groups and/or the games we play.

Feel free to send any questions or comments via email or leave them below.

Disclaimers:

This house has a dog. He loves you already. However, DO NOT try to take food or components from him. He must be bribed or startled. We keep a jar of Jelly Beans for this very situation as it can do both.

If you start a miniatures game I reserve the right to throw you out the house when the sun comes up

This house may contain at any time one or more Magic players.

I had a ton of laughs. I especially enjoyed playing the Renegade in Bang!

Last night after I left, I randomly recalled Ryan saying something along the lines of, "what's that W stand for?Warrior or something?" during our game of shadow hunters. As I left he showed me his card. Werewolf! I'll never underestimate your ability to be sneaky, Ryan! And I hope everyone enjoyed kicking the crap outa the poor misunderstood vampire! Ha! See u guys soon!

Thank you all for coming out and getting your game. I had a great time. Some new games hit the table, no components became dog food, and we even got everyone in on a big game of Shadow Hunters.

Games played: Cosmic Encounter, Lords of Vegas, Shadow Hunters, Bang: The Dice Game, 7 Wonders, Splendor.

Don't forget 5 mins of Love Letter! XD But yes, great time as always. Thanks for the games everyone! No more math for Nathan, as he uses it to still victories from lesser folk.

Pre-games message time. Dan is looking to run some gambling parlours. At some point in the evening I'll probably attempt to get Ankh Morpork to the table. I've got Thursday off so if there are any requests for games in my collection I can make sure I'm fresh on rules. As always any games you want bring and play are welcome. Questions, concerns, randomnesses drop em in.

I enjoy going to a casino pretty often, so Lords of Vegas' theme appeals to me enough to make me want to give it a go. I still have my eye on Shadow Hunters, if we get a chance I would love to try that out as well. And maybe Jamaica...

Last time we had a few people interested in Cosmic Encounter, I'll go ahead and bring that again and run a table if anyone wants in.
