Welcome! Our Circle recognizes shamanism as a cross-cultural spiritual practice. With drums, rattles, dancing, shamanic journeying, joyous and graceful ceremony, we celebrate our essential nature and relationship with the natural world. We honor everyone's place in the sacred hoop of life. Experience shamanic drumming - journey to a different state of awareness - including to meet your power animal and other shamanic practices based in thousands of year old traditions. Cultivate your own shamanic practice. Find insight into personal and collective topics. Experience a spiritual practice grounded in respectful awareness the world is sacred, animated, conscious and energetically interdependent. Ancestral, traditional, indigenous and shamanic cultures honor seasonal and other significant planetary, lunar cycles by gathering as community in ritual, celebratory ceremony. We invite you to celebrate the seasons and life with us. Please bring a drum or rattle, a pen & notepad and a bandanna/eye covering. We have some extra rattles and drums. You can also bring a yoga mat, blanket or pillow . Journey work is usually lying down or seated on the floor. Cushions and chairs are provided for those who choose to use them. Welcome to the Richmond Shamanic Drum Circle! Recognizing shamanism as a 30,000 year old universal spiritual practice grounded in respectful awareness the world is sacred and interdependent, we invite you to celebrate the seasons and life with us. With drums, rattles, shamanic journeying into an other than ordinary purposeful awareness and joyous ceremonies rooted in ancient traditions, we honor everyone's place in the sacred hoop of life, our essential nature and relationship with all life.

Learn how to meet your power animal, to create sacred space and other key practices of ancient, cross-cultural shamanic traditions. Cultivate your own shamanic practice, deepen kinship with the natural world and insight into personal and collective experiences. We're a welcoming community who acknowledge the sacredness of Earth and all life.

Please bring a drum or rattle, a pen & notepad, a bandanna or scarf to cover your eyes during journeying- if you have them- and spirit of adventure. We have extra drums, rattles and other sound making tools available, cushions and chairs for those who choose to use them.
