Welcome to Richmond Volunteers!!!

If you are reading this message, CONGRATULATIONS, this means that we believe that you will be a great fit for this group. For all of our members that have been with us for a while, we welcome you once again and thank you for your continue support and participation.

As most of you know by now, Richmond Volunteers organizes at least one event per day, sometimes even up to 2 or 3 events, making it over 32-33 events per month.

For our site to be able to stay up and running, Meetup charges $120 per year. For the past 4 years, the group has had to depend on the generosity of its members to be able to stay afloat, which is why a $1 donation was encouraged at events. Unfortunately, donations this past year have not been sufficient to keep the site running.

This year, we have come up with a better plan to be able to meet our yearly expenses obligations, which in the end; will benefit all of us.

A donation of $5/member per year is what we are aiming for. We understand that not everyone is able to just come up with money and that is why is not mandatory but greatly appreciated.

Other donations will still be extremely appreciated and will not go unnoticed. If some of you have been blessed with a little more capital than others and would like to make an extra donation, it will be greatly appreciated.

This is how this is going to work….

A new event titled “Member Donations” will be posted every month and that will give you the opportunity to submit your $5 donation. Tam will keep a roster with names from members that have donated their $5 for the year. Easy as 1-2-3.

For Extra Donations

If you would like to submit an extra donation for the group this are the steps to follow:

Type the following email: [masked] (Tam's email)

Type Amount you wish to donate

Click Send Money

Select Friends or Family (First option)

If you have a Paypal account it will ask for your password, if not it will give you the option to create one.

Review the payment.

Under comments include: Donation for Richmond Volunteers and your name. submit.
