HIT THE FLAT BRIDLE TRAIL!

We will hike approximately 4.5 miles on the BRIDLE TRAIL at Ridley Creek State Park, with only 2-3 short rest stops. Meet at the parking lot for PICNIC AREA #8. Prompt start at 9:30 am. This is a moderate and steady paced hike that is almost entirely FLAT. Bring water, snacks, and poles if you need them.

**************************************

NOTE: For those who would like to trim 1 to 1-1/2 miles from the distance, there is an option that will permit you to do so. I can bring a few extra copies of a map to guide you & call to your attention where you can cut it short when we reach that point of the hike.

**************************************

We will hike from Picnic Area #8 down an easy grade to the Bridle Trail, which is very, very flat. We will be passing by Ridley Creek as we hike the Bridle Trail. We might pass by some equestrians, and if so, we should do our best to be courteous by not distracting any horses.

NOTE: We need to safely cross Gradyville Road on the way to the Bridle Trail, and we will cross it on the way back to the parking location.

Starting at PICNIC AREA #8.
