Sunday morning bike ride at Phinizy Swamp.

1858 Lock and Dam Rd

Joins us for a fall series of Sunday morning bike rides around the wetland cells at Phinizy Swamp. There are 14 acres of trails to explore. We'll take a leisurely two hour ride possibly stopping to admire views, birds, turtles and...alligators! So definitely bring field glasses. We'll be riding on grass, dirt and/or gravel thus Mountain bikes or "fat tires" would be better suited to the trail. You will also need a hat (there's very little shade), sunscreen and lots of water. Mild breezes are usual, I've found very little need for bug repellent but you may also want to bring some of that too. We'll meet up in the field by the parking lot restrooms. https://phinizycenter.org/park-trails-and-features
