I too am willing to help anyone in our group with Photoshop questions.
I am most familiar with the older versions of the program where I did
most of my work years ago. The newest version that we have now is CS2.

To separate the leaves from the sky in the glass negative pix try, on a new
layer, going to threshold and sliding back and forth till you see a
possible choice that you like. Fill in black the parts that don’t apply to your intended selection
& save. Copy this layer to a new channel and blur slightly (.5) woks well here.
Use this selection to “paste into” with the sky of your choice. Good luck & have fun.
