  • Join Bob for this Basic Photography class.  This is a great follow-up to the 6-hour Basic DSLR workshop or as a stand alone beginner workshop.   You will be learning by doing - clicking the shutter! - throughout the class.

This class will cover The Fundamentals of Exposure - ISO, Aperture, and Shutter Speed (the exposure triangle).  Understanding these basics elements will help ensure you take better pictures in a variety of lighting conditions and environments.  Are your subjects too bright or too dark in your images?  Learn exposure compensation techniques that will help you adjust your camera settings to have an appropriately exposed subject regardless of the lighting conditions.  In addition to exposure, this class will help you learn to control your focus and Depth of Field more accurately.

You will be practicing your photography skills as you are learning.  If you have a flash bring it along, not required, but helpful.

This class is good as a follow-up to the 6-hour Basic Workshop.  The 6-hour workshop certainly isn't a requirement.  Please contact us with any questions.

Bob's cell is[masked] if you need to reach him that day.

What are students saying about Fundamentals of Exposure?

Learned more about how to use the functions of my camera by doing hands on exercises. Great follow up class to the 6 hour basics course. - Gina

Great class. Lots of hands-on practice to use different settings and how the react with different lighting, etc. - Tammy

Great class. This is the first time that I attended a photography class where it was hands on. It really helped in the understanding to try what was being taught immediately after it was discussed. I got a lot from this class. - Doug
