Re: [roleplayers-527] future meetup events

Hey Dan!
I'd be interested in running some RPGs (I'm not real big on boardgames usually)...and have mentioned so on the forums, but I tend to get little if any response.  Before I tended to have things where I live, but am willing to be more flexible now as I see a lot of people are kind of city-bound.  Venues seem to be a problem in my opinion aside from Millennium -- Boldo's (little to no parking, at least for me), Comics Etc (new location, but what gaming is done there is store sponsered -- Heroclix), Pair O' Dice Games (I believe this would be limited to Saturday afternoons for me due to other weekend commitments), and CoWorking Rochester (seems to be more or less relegated to the occasional mini-con as it is a workplace for some).
I also seem to get the feeling only certain games and/or gamemasters are preferred: A) Games = D&D 3.5/Pathfinder, Witchhunter (?), Savage Worlds (?); B) GM's = You, Bill Horst-Kotter, Jamie (?), and Sean Bourke.  Mostly, and like the other gaming meet-up group in the area, boardgames are what seem to attract the gamers nowadays...if they actually show up...

Calling all geeks and gamers looking to get together! We have demand for board gaming, role-playing gaming, and movie/ TV show viewing events and we are in need of hosts and venues.

We currently have a shortage of active organizers, too, so if you're willing and able to volunteer for any of the above, please let me know!

Also, if there's an event that you'd like to see organized, let us know and we'll see what we can do. If there's an rpg you'd like to run, or a movie you'd like to watch, don't be afraid to suggest it. :)

Have a good Easter week!
