I write a genealogy column for The Lakeshore Guardian, am an opinion columnist for The Times Herald. I am newsletter editor of Blue Water Memories which is the newsletter of the St. Clair County Family History Group, maintain a blog where I post weekly, and I am working on my first book.

What is your primary genre?

I do a variety - genealogy, non-fiction and my book is a personal story/memoir.

What professional development topics or guests are you interested in?

Selecting a self-publishing company -- what to look for, what to be cautious of; Is it still beneficial to query traditional publishers; building your followers/reader platform; A base line for what the costs are to self-publish your own book- editors, cover design, proof readers, publishing attorneys, etc.
