Next Meetup

I (Mathias) wear mammut climbing shorts with a sewed-in harness. Just look out for someone on the wall who looks like he has no harness on. I am not always there so you can also ask the front counter for someone who is part of the meetup group. They know us. Or text me and I will hook you up with our whatsapp group where most of the organization takes place. Everyone is welcome, but please note that we all climb for fun and therefore do not teach people how to climb. If you are a first timer, we suggest that you either take a course (at k7, SAC or any other organization) or that you come to our bouldering meetup on Mondays at B2 - it's great for getting a feel of the sport. Moreover, most of us lead climb, so if you are (still) on toprope, you can ask around if anyone wants to join, but it might be harder to find someone. Again,a courses are a good way to start lead climbing :-)

What we're about

Looking for a climbing partner? Join us. There is bouldering and climbing once a week and if the weather somehow permits it, we go outdoors on weekends. Mostly expats, but we slowly aquire some swiss people!

Please remember, that we do not offer technical assistance for teaching climbing safety. If you want to try climbing, then try bouldering first as this requires no belaying. If you want to learn how to rope climb, be it toprope or lead, be it single or multipitch, please take a course.

We do pay attention to proper belay technique and if we see someone with unsatisfactory technique we will point it out up to the point of telling to the people running the climbing gym.
