  • Our only door is a garage in an alley. The alley is accessible from Jefferson and Mulberry (car parking on either, too). We are behind the Bliss building on Mulberry, and next to the AT&T building. There is a doorbell next to the garage.
  • Meetup location

Our makerspace garage-entrance is behind the beautiful Bliss building on Mulberry Street. On Mulberry, please enter the alley from the right of this building. If the garage is not open, ring the newly placed doorbell.

    What we're about

Some of us are experienced with CAD, some with CAM, or are just beginning with machining and learning.

The makerspace has some machines: a desktop CNC mill (for milling circuit boards, wood, or aluminum), a Tormach PCNC770, and a couple manually-guided mills.

Lately, this meetup has been learning about and using Fusion 360, free for personal use, simple interface, and has CAD/CAM/Simulation functionality built-in.

If you have questions or an idea for the meetup, feel free to ask in our Rockford Makers Google Group:!forum/rockfordmakers
