    Here are figures for Winnebago County that show that the housing market is getting better. Home sales for April 2014 were up 30% compared with the previous month, and up 4% compared with a year ago. The median sales price of a non-distressed home was $80,000. The median sales price of a foreclosure home was $34,500, or 57% lower than non-distressed home sales. The median List Price is $99,900 which is up 11% vs April 2013 and the median Sale Price is $80,000 which is up 7% vs April 2013. Now is the time to buy as an investor making sure that the property is in the areas that the buyers are buying and that the numbers work.
