Hiking can be hazardous and may result in minor and serious injury. The organizers of Rockland Singles 45 plus, afternoon, walks, hiking, a & e group are not professional hikers. I understand that I, and any guest I bring, hike at my/our own risk.

What Rob is saying about this Meetup Group

Friendly people, variety of events. Other meetups/social groups all too often suffer from a lack of hospitality. Maybe a lot of folks involved are shy, or like chatting with their friends. I understand, but for a first-timer, how that person is received can be a make-or-break as to whether they ever come again. So, everyone ought to keep an eye out for the newbie. I have heard several times that the Rockland 45 group is quite friendly to newcomers.
