Lets' do it again! Come enjoy an approx. 3 mile easy, moderate paced walk in the beautiful, historical Van Saun park which includes a fun filled visit to the zoo and Discovery Center!

There will be many stops along the way for a little history and photo opts.

The paths are generally flat, paved or brick lined. Water proof hiking boots or supportive walking shoes are recommended. Bring cash, bills, etc. for the zoo as there are refreshment and snack machines and a Hurricane Machine for those who dare! (if operating) You will see animals from around the world and have the opportunity for a close encounter with Mountain Lions which took my breath away on a recent visit. Warning: some of the enclosures are not ideal and will hopefully be improved with time. Until than the zoo provides an education about and exposes children of all ages to animals they would not otherwise know exist. Bring your inner child!

Admission to the zoo is free until sometime in May. Rest rooms are available throughout the park.

MEET AT PARKING LOT 5, THE FIRST LOT ON YOUR LEFT WHEN COMING IN FROM THE ENTRANCE ON FOREST AVE. The lot faces a soccer field and track. SEE MAP IN PHOTOS AT BOTTOM OF EVENT FOR LAYOUT.
