SAW hosts a songwriters' toolbox every month at The Rockville Memorial Library every second Saturday of the month from 12:30 to 3:30pm (meeting room #1). Bring your song, your curiosity, your instrument (or if you're shy a recording) It can be just lyrics or a melody or both. If you can, bring copies (at least 15) of your song lyrics to share as it helps in discussing your work with the group.
Come hear what your songwriting peers are up to, share your latest writings, ramblings or unfinished opus and find out what SAW can do to help you be a better songwriter
The song circles will be organized by Jay Keating, [masked]. They will often include an opening presentation by a local songwriter or musician of note.
These sessions strive to be both respectful positive environments and a genuine attempt to address and assist your efforts to write the better song.
