Want your child to explore interests in computer programming but don't know where to start? You can help your child to learn to program even you don't know how to program. With the free online video-lecture-based curriculums from Google, you can do that right at home. Or you can bring your child to the MakerSpace to learn together with other kids.

In this workshop, we'll introduce a Google's CS First Programming Curriculums. This set of curriculums teaches Scratch, a block programming language that is both easy and fun to learn. There will be hands-on activities for kids to try.

We have a limited amount of laptops to be used by participants. You may want to bring your own laptop if you have one. And if you do, you may want to download and install Scratch before the workshop. Scratch can be downloaded from https://scratch.mit.edu/download

12 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult. but all parents are strongly encouraged to stay and participate.
