What we're about

Hi. This is a group for older players (30 to 130) who like games such as Ticket to Ride.

Some simple rules:

1. Safe place for all. No disparagement of others political, religious, sexual, gender and other preferences or beliefs (or similar things, you get the idea). This group has one purpose, to be a safe, friendly venue for people who enjoy games to play games with each other.

2. This is a gaming group, not a pick-up place. A place where all genders should feel safe to chill without being on the look-out for the next person who is going to hit on them,

3. A minimum Quorum of four accepted members need to accept for a meeting to be held.

4. If you miss more than three meeting (missing means you have accepted and are a no-show without letting organizers know otherwise) you will be asked to leave the group.

Guess that's it for now. Please do let me know if you wish to discuss these or other rules.

Lets get this started with an awesome game!

Rockville Memorial Library

How about getting this started with A Ticket to Ride, a truly awesome, award winning game. The Rockville Library is a really nice building and with easy access by metro and bus. Free validated parking at designated spots (see below for instructions) and lots of fun places to eat afterwards if anyone feels up to it. We need at least four participants to make this viable. PARKING: Library customers can get 2 hours of free parking when they park in one of the Rockville Town Square garages, which are clearly labeled Garage A (letter A in green - accessible from Maryland Avenue entrance near Beall Avenue and from Hungerford Drive), Garage B (letter B in blue - accessible from the driveway between Gold's Gym and Pandora), and Garage C. Please note that there are two garages accessible from the driveway between Gold's Gym and Pandora. The first garage to the left after driving between the buildings does not have validated parking. Please continue past the first parking entrance on the left and down the hill under the blue sign that says Garage B to access the garage for which parking can be validated. To validate your parking when visiting the Rockville Memorial Library building, use the machine to the left as you enter the first floor internal doors of the Library. The validation machine is next to the Internet Sign In Station.
