Game Day...Global 1940...4-20-2013...start at noon

Game Day…Global 1940…start at noon…end around midnight! YES…12 hours of playing a kids game!

The game we’ll be playing is the Global 1940 game…the LONG, often times grinding, grueling, brain burning LONG...did I mention of Axis and Allies.

We’ll be ordering pizza at around 5 pm (please bring $5 if you want to share in pizza) and everyone, as always, is encouraged to also bring snacks and drinks to share!

We’ll also be asking players to pitch in a $5 “Event Fee”. This money is used to help offset the cost of our Meetup website ($72 for 6 months) and to buy the materials for all the tables and stuff we build to help us better manage the games many pieces!

As always, please do your best to respect other players by striving to be on time and planning to stay until the end (about 8 to 12 hours). Yes, it’s a longer day than most people put into a days work, but trust me…its WAY more fun than that and its well worth the time!!!

Chris, I was looking at pictures from your group's past games... What is the deal with that huge map you guys are playing on? Is that a blown up 1940 board?
