This road loop is ride #3 in the RMCC Challenge Series (https://www.rockymountaincyclingclub.com/rmcc-challenge-series)
This is a classic ride on the north side of the area. We'll meet at Hygiene Elementary School at 9:15 for a 9:30 departure. We'll head north through Carter Lake and then to Masonville (first regroup). From there we'll climb Stove Prairie and the final, ahem, challenging push up to the top of Rist Canyon. From there it's a long descent down to Vern's for our second regroup. We'll then have the big rollers around Horsetooth Reservoir followed by the flatter roads back to Hygiene.
The total loop is 99 miles. There is also a shorter option head back from Masonville which is 56 miles.
Masonville Mercantile: mile 30
Vern's: mile 57
Sandy's Conoco: mile 79

Please join us. If you live further south and have never ridden Stove Prairie/Rist Canyon (or haven't in a long time), it's worth the trip!
Note: This is obviously time of the year when rides may need to be rescheduled/changed due to weather. If you're interested in this ride please RSVP so you'll be notified in the event there are changes.
Non-dues-paying members are welcome and invited to join us on any ride! After three rides we do ask that you join the club: https://www.rockymountaincyclingclub.com/rmcc-membership-application-form
Lastly, for our Challenge Series rides, we like to have a second ride leader to help make the rides more friendly. Please PM me if you are willing to help out on this one!
