Route/Maps/Weather (Thanks 14ers.com!) - DO YOUR HOMEWORK:
Avalanche Danger: TBD
Estimated Start Time: 7:00 AM
Estimated Finish Time: ??? Do not attend if you have plans later that afternoon, at a set time. This is going to be a long day, with a large group.
Special Gear: Microspikes, Gaiters and Headlamp (with spare batteries). Floatation and ice axe TBD. If someone has a set of radios to bring, that may be helpful.
Group Dynamics : We will all stick together. Decisions will be group decisions. If we decide to split up, the minimum group size will be 2 and all will have to agree to split.
Where to Eat After: TBD – suggestions as to where to go after for food/drink would be appreciated!
This trip will be cancelled if sustained wind forecast exceeds 35 MPH (or gust forecast over 50 mph), or the temps are brutal with wind.
I am not a guide, nor do I see myself as being a “leader” on the hikes/climbs I post. I am simply looking for partners around my same skill level (beginner to border-line intermediate) to hike with. OR, maybe someone who is more advanced, but wants to hike/climb the peak scheduled.
