There's lots happening tonight in Maker community.
Small Business/Entrepreneurship Meetup 6pm
This is the first interest group to see if there might be some benefit to gathering us nerdy, artsy, driven business owners regularly.  No rules or formal schedule yet, so if you might be interested, stop by and tell us your thoughts. Want to do something different from the traditional networking type group and really did into ideas, books, methods, and inspiration for the overworked and ambitious. Open to non-makerspace members.
Regular MAKE Night 7pm-9pm(ish)
Open to all community.
RIFF Opening Night (7pm) DeSoto
Ryan Simmons, director of the Rome International Film Festival, has made tickets available for any fellow Makerspace members.  If you are a member and a fan of film, contact me and I'll tell you how to get your tickets.  If you are aren't a member but love film, its $6 to get into the film. :)
ON THE HORIZON:
If you are a parent or nanny or neighbor or friend to a kid that may be interested in programming, invite them/their parents to log interest in PROGRAMMING FOR KIDShttp://www.meetup.com/Maker-Cities-Northwest-GA/events/138312412/.  We want to get 10 budding programmers involved.  We'll have some demos built by kids and talk about various fun ways to start kids programming.
