Details

1. We'll meet each other, introduce ourselves, affirm our aims and agreements for working together and the intentions of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) set out in Marshall Rosenberg's book - Nonviolent Communication - A Language of Life. 2. We'll invite a check-in from each person as they choose. Here's a chance to express whatever is longing to be shared and heard, as we review the day that brought us to our meetup. 3. We'll agree together to either: follow "Giving From the Heart" from the NVC Workbook or explore personal choices to share and translate into the language of NVC. In either case, we aim to meet all our needs for experiencing, reframing and learning to bring more compassion into our everyday communications. 4. We'll practise coming into full presence, noticing our feelings and responses to the day's events and discover nourishment in holding ourselves tenderly, with openness and with aligning body and mind. 5. Closing and looking forward: We'll consider what intentions and expressions we can bring into our everyday communications, which might have felt blocked or stuck before. A notebook might be useful so do bring one if you'd enjoy recording some ideas. We'll place the NVC Book on the table so we can be found. I'm bringing a giraffe and a sound bowl, feelings and needs cards, pens and paper and a rock!
