Hey Guys and Gals
Tonight we are screening - Grasp the Nettle!!
Nettles are particulary scrumptious this time of year, in fact I whizzed up a delicious nettle soup this week, with just an onion and some spinach, juice them too, or add to tea, or make a tincture, the list is endless.
Sadly I can't make this evening as I am away working in the Lake District, sigh, its simply breathtakingly stunning up here, however don't let that stop you having fun, go along tonight and I am sure you will meet a heap of beautiful people like you, does anyone feel happy to meet and greet any newbies?
I also plan to start listing some wonderful Spring Time and Summer Events, so apologises for the lack of events listed of late.
1st Tuesday of the month - Always at Passing Clouds
Hackney, 1 Richmond Rd, E8 4AA, Behind the Haggerston Pub. Doors open at 6.45pm
Grasp the Nettle:
Shot over three years in the aftermath of the 2008 banking collapse, Grasp the Nettle is an intimate exploration of the rise and fall of two radical social experiments, pioneered by the loved and the lost of a city reeling from the impact of economic and ecological crisis. In the process, it asks hard questions about the nature of freedom and the meaning of activism in ‘interesting times’.
Permaculture Picturehouse is London's regular permaculture social event - feature length and short films on subjects from the whole permaculture spectrum of interests, accompanied by talks from people involved in local and national projects. All night bar and delicious locally sourced vegetarian food.
