Who is it for?

• Adults who want an emotionally safe and fun environment to deepen your connection with your body, mind, and spirit.

• Beginners new to yoga in search of the powerful life changing experience that yoga provides. Maybe you've read about it, maybe you've heard a story about someone who has changed their life with yoga... Or maybe you realized that it's time to start prioritizing you and your body.

• Intermediate yogis who want to enhance the mindfulness component of their practice.

What is Mindful Yoga?

Mindful Yoga is yoga with a focus on mind and body awareness. It uses yoga poses and breathing to to enhance the mind/body connection while leveraging the power of mindfulness - one of the most effective behavior change modalities on the planet - to increase well-being, physical fitness, flexibility, and all around wellness both on and off the mat.

What style of yoga do you teach?

Classes consist of slow-flowing poses that are generally held longer. Each class presents the student with a growth opportunity both on and off the mat - students are taught how to integrate the principles of yoga off the mat.

What do I need to bring to class?

A water bottle, a yoga mat (we have one's to use if you don't have one) and a desire to deepen your connection with your body.

What is the cost?

There is no cost. It's free.

I know nothing about yoga, should I come?

Yes, a number of the students are beginners. You will love it. It's a wonderful space with wonderful people.

Are you certified or trained to teach yoga?

Yes, I'm a registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance. I completed a 200 hour teaching program at Body Heat Yoga in Rocklin, CA and have been practicing yoga for years. I've also received one on one training in the Iyengar style of yoga, in addition to other wonderful styles.

I love helping others realize their potential. It's my life. I'm a professional life coach who specializes with men and women struggling with compulsive behaviors and addictions.

I've appeared on The Katie Couric Show and Lifetime TV and work one on one with clients on 6 continents in over 24 countries worldwide, including professionals, celebrities, professional athletes and musicians.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, I have professional liability insurance through Hays Affinity - an insurance program only available for Registered Yoga Teachers.
