5300 Main St, Rowlett, TX
The Rowlett, Texas Photography Clubs meets twice per month: the first Tuesday and the third Thursday. Our meetings are held at the Rowlett, Community Centre.
Our meetings have two formats. One format we refer to as our regular meetings, and the other format we refer to as the camera club.
Our regular meetings focus on the discussion of photography as an art. We typically have a key note, in which one of our photographers present on an aspect of photography they enjoy and share their lessons referring to their own photography. We also have several photographers that present "5 Photographs in 5 Minutes" in which they share 5 of their photographs and discuss points of photography they wish to share.
Our camera club meetings focus on the craft and technical aspects of photography. AT these meetings, there are 3 tables / stations with 3 different photographers talking about an aspect of photography that focuses on the craft or technical aspects of photography. You may discuss, in in some cases practice a specific element of photography.
The regular meetings and camera clubs meetings rotate between the Tuesday and Thursday meetings, so if your schedule only allows a particular day of the month, you will have an opportunity to attend both types of meetings.
