Wednesday training ride

Do you have big plans for the summer but feel unsure of your climbing abilities? Wondering what all this hill stuff is about? Just plain Scared of Hills? This is about as friendly and forgiving as a climbing ride gets, so hike up yer ridin' shorts and come on out.

Comfortable climbing requires good technique and mindset as much as physical fitness, so I will begin each ride with a few minutes of remarks about climbing technique and strategies, and will also be there for coaching and encouragement as we make our way up the hill.

This will be interval type training.  We can modify the routes in future weeks and build up to a Logi trail climb.  Here is a link to the standard route google map of ride.  On any given week depending on riders we can change the route to fit.

All this going up means a certain amount of coming down, so we'll working on descending too!

Type of Ride This is a training and coaching ride.

Ride leader:Luis Machado[masked]

Meeting Point: Helvetia Tavern.

This Week's Route Ride GPS  21.1 Miles, 1485 feet of climbing.

Pace and terrain rating. Climb at your own pace. You'll get faster, I promise. No one left behind.

Weather Cancellation Policy. Only extreme weather will cancel this ride. ****************************************************

Mandatory for all riders.

Helmets must be worn at all times while riding. This is a requirement and not a request. Obey traffic laws and remember you’re a representative of the greater cycling community and should conduct yourself that way on the road. Represent us well!

Have your bike in good working order and bring a flat kit & the right size spare tube on all rides.
