Book Club - Ruby Under a Microscope - Ch 9-12

It's almost time for the next Book Club! How's your reading coming along? After a brief furlough due to ACR we're back with chapters 9-12 of Ruby Under a Microscope. It covers some metaprogramming techniques and alternate interpreters (namely JRuby and Rubinius). Really exciting stuff. If you have questions or comments let me know, I'd love to discuss it with you.

See you there!

Hello, everyone. I've listed a few books that I'd like to get your take on. If you get a chance please vote, and if a book you want to be listed isn't just reach out to me and I'll see what I can do. Thanks!

(I kinda think I'm leaning toward Mastery right now personally, but we'll likely get to all of these books eventually. ^_^) Also, relevant to our discussion last night:

Voted...tough choice, but picked the one that was most relevant to me right now.

Great meetup - slowly starting to understand a little bit more after each one. :) Thanks to Jonathan for walking us through the book.

Sorry it wasn't more book focused this past meetup. Thanks for coming out!

This was rather good although I feel bad that my neophytic code was presented as the 'UZI' example. Thanks Jonathan for such a productive conversation, it has been a long time since I have tried "to curry" and I had to go read up about if after the meeting to refresh my mem cache.
