Portlock Park

Join RunVictoria on our first Salt Spring Island group run! A combination of road and trail, we will explore the incredible trail network on Channel Ridge as well as some of the very best running roads to be found anywhere. Expect a deliciously hilly route! Approximate distance will be between 11 and 15 km. This is an easy-pace run. Everyone is invited.

Catch the 8:30 AM ferry from Swartz Bay to Fulford (fare is ~$32 for vehicles/$11 for passengers round-trip). We will meet at the Portlock Park parking lot (by the tennis courts and track, corner of North End and Vesuvius Bay Rds.) between 9:30-9:45. Car pooling is recommended if possible.

Post-run lunch will be at Moby's Pub for those interested!
Bring a change of clothes and a towel (there will be opportunity for a swim after the run!)

Note: this event may need to be rescheduled if air quality deteriorates due to wildfire smoke.
