What brought you to the Running & Walking Group?

The need for motivation and the belief that there is strength in numbers! I am so tired of telling myself I will start working out "tomorrow". I really believe that we can motivate each other. I know I find much more motivation to work out if meeting others to do so, as opposed to going alone.

What is your biggest obstacle to being in the best shape in which you can be?

After I got married and moved to a dead-end street in the country, I got out of the habit of running around a neighborhood. Working too much and recovery from an injury have been factors, too. But overall, I have developed a bad habit of not making myself get out there.

Do you have any favorite Bluegrass area running / walking areas that you would like to suggest for meetups?

I love Veteran's Park, trail running anywhere, and the Arboretum. Looking forward to seeing more of the Legacy Trail and trying out some of the parks Members have suggested.

I am a bluegrass area native who loves running and the outdoors.

What a great group of people. It is a joy to see everyone and workout together. Thanks for the motivation to keep getting out there. Thank you, Marie, for being such a great organizer!
