Okee doke! For those of you registered for Tap 'n Run this weekend and for those who didn't register but will be there as cheerleaders (beerleaders?), here are the details:
Tap 'n Run is this Saturday at 2pm at Neighbor's Pub in the Highlands (725 North Highland Ave NE, Atlanta, 30306). We'll be meeting there at 1:15-1:30 to allow time to meet up, do whatever race things need to be done, etc. I'll have my phone on me for when you get there and want to find the group [masked]).
Our team theme is "Most Interesting Team in the World" (think Dos Equis). We'll all wear a tuxedo t-shirt and I'll have signs (feel free to make your own as well) with statements similar to what's on the commercials that can hang like necklaces around your necks.
I've checked around and a few places you'll definitely be able to find these t-shirts are Ebay, Amazon (makes sure you check shipping dates on both of these), Hot Topic, and Spencers. If you're struggling to find something, I reserved 4 of these t-shirts at the Southlake Circle (apparently the closest to Atlanta) Hot Topic (2 extra smalls, 1 large, and 1 2x--- the only ones they had). They're under my name in case you want to pick one of these up. They'll be on hold until 7:30pm tomorrow. If you're bringing a water bottle, I'd suggest printing out a XX label and taping that bad boy on. I've heard mention of somebody spraying their hair white. While this is not required, you are encouraged to get as Dos Equis-ed as possible!
Stephanie has generously offered her house (within walking distance of the race) for an after-race get together. We'll meet at her place at 5 (after the race and hanging out in the Highlands a little bit), get some food, and she'll have a keg (everyone drinking should plan to chip in). We are welcome there all night. Her address is 988 N. Highland Ave NE. Parking lot is behind the house and is open for guests-- enter at Yogli Mogli.
I think I've covered it all but let me know if you have any questions!
