The aim is this: to be a regular weekly place and time where artists and yet-to-be artists living in the Clevedon, Papakura and Franklin district with an interest in/passion for drawing from models can come together to practice and share. And to do so without having to travel the god-awful motorway into the city. The group would be suit people 16 years old and up at this stage.
Each week there will be a single model (clothed). I'll have to figure out where we find them. Any medium that is not paint is welcome to be used (this could change depending on where we find to meet). We will probably follow a well-defined pattern of short time length poses with a coffee/tea break then round off with a longer pose (20 minutes ish).
On the subject of where we can meet, does anyone have any ideas on that? One option is the Hunua Village Community Hall which is easy to get to and relatively central in this region. Any other thought on venues? Please consider ease of parking with any suggestions.
On last thing. It will cost about $15 a time in cash (Hall hire and subsidising models).
