Ride/Car Sharing: Presentations from RideCell and Porsche Digital

Speaker 1: RideCell's CEO will deliver a presentation about his company's innovative ride-sharing and car-sharing platform, currently used by BMW's ReachNow program. RideCell (http://ridecell.com) was founded in 2009 and has over 20 service customers.

Founder and CEO Aarjav Trivedi founded Ridecell in 2009 and has led its growth from a demand-response service on a university campus to a worldwide platform that powers more than 15 million rides per year. He is responsible for setting the strategy across all areas of the company.

Speaker 2: Matthew Hall from Porsche digital will engage the group in a discussion on industry trends in car and ride sharing and present Porsche's perspective.

Matthew has a broad background in automotive across many facets of the industry. Starting as a logistics consultant for OEM’s and dealerships, he led an effort to promote the broader acquisition of data generated from the sales and aftersales process at MDL Automation. He was then an operations lead for a startup company focused on multi-modal transportation called SHIFT, based in Las Vegas. Most recently, he has worked for German luxury brands Mercedes-Benz and Porsche on new business innovation and strategy. Currently, he represents Porsche Digital focusing on Business Modeling and Strategy

The presentations will begin promptly at 7pm. Food and beverages (and beer!) provided. After the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to try out the fka BWW driving simulator.
