Victorian Chapter Meeting for September 2013

SAGE-AU Victorian Chapter Meeting

DATE:  Wednesday 18 September 2013 (3rd Wednesday of the month)

TIME:  7:00 PM till 8:00 PM

VENUE: Symantec Offices
              437 St. Kilda Road
              South Melbourne, Vic
             Note that Symantec are SAGE-AU sponsors --
             A big thank you for also providing a meeting venue.

AGENDA: Brett Gray from Puppet Labs will be speaking. His
                  talk will focus on ways that Puppet can be useful to
                  system administrators.
                  Also, it's "T-Shirt Night" -- Attendees will have a
                  choice of selected T-Shirts featuring the retired
                   SAGE-AU branding.

WHO: SAGE-AU Members, prospective members, and other
            people involved  with system administration. (Please try
            to find some co-workers to bring along, OK?)

MENU: A carefully selected range of traditional SysAdmin fare
            (i.e.. pizza) is provided free of charge to attendees.
            Members with special dietary requirements should
            contact the executive prior  to the meeting.

DIRECTIONS: Symantec's offices are in St Kilda Road, just past
                        Toorak Road. (Third tram stop Southbound after
                        the Domain Interchange-- Arthur Street)  Entrance
                        is from Slater Street.

                        Given that the lift needs a security pass, I'll make

                                   number of open source tools

                                   or a talk TBA
