• Hiking at Eisenhower Park

    Eisenhower Park

This will be about a 3.25 mile hike at Eisenhower Park that will take about an hour and 15 minutes. The terrain is not tremendously difficult overall, but there are several steep spots and some pretty good elevation changes for around here. On the map below, we will be doing the Hillview natural and Red Oak natural trails counter-clockwise. Wear good hiking shoes. If you are not a current ACSA member but would like to meet some of us in an outdoor setting instead of a Meet & Greet, please come out and hike with us! Bring a friend or two if you wish. The atmosphere is much different than a Meet & Greet, and the group size can range from 5 to 25 depending on the weather and what other events are scheduled. Afterwards, some of us will go somewhere nearby for dinner. This is a kid-friendly event, but children should be old enough to complete the hike on their own. Dogs are welcome too, but please keep them leashed and bring what you need to clean up after them. We meet between 6:15 and 6:20 pm so we can start hiking at 6:30 pm please allow enough time to drive to the park.
