This training run is specifically designed for those participating in the SARR 5K/10K training program. The specific "training for the day" for this Thursday will follow the training plan outlined in your training handout as follows:
5K Participants = Alternate a 4 minute jog with a 1 minute walk for a total of 2.0 miles. Remember to bring a stop watch or a phone app for timing purposes, and bring a flashlight or headlamp since it will still be dark.
Both 10K Groups (A and B Participants) will run 3 miles at race pace. This run should be at a steady pace that matches your expected 10K race pace.
