Getting Started With Your Own Business
Led by Ken Moore, Professor, Strategic Management, SUNY Albany. This program will provide entrepreneurs with an overview of the justification for, and key components of, a business plan. A business plan is a roadmap or blueprint of how you intend to run your new business – from the beginning and then to growing the business. It describes your business, how you intend to earn money, and the initial plans to produce and market your product or service, and outlines the goals and details of how you plan to achieve those goals. A well written business plan will clearly answer the question: “What am I selling and why should people buy it from me?” SCORE volunteers provide experienced counsel and mentorship to their clients as they think through some of the significant challenges of business development and help them develop solutions and action plans. At the end of the program, several SCORE counsellors will be available to answer your concerns and questions. Call[masked] ext 2 or email [masked] We hope to see you there.
