We are an organization open to all skill levels of photography with a goal of improvement through the exchange of ideas and sharing of knowledge. The purpose of the SCTPC is to promote photography by encouraging friendly competition, and by offering instructional programs and challenging monthly assignments. We share mutual interests and participate with other photographic organizations as appropriate and beneficial to the organization.

Richard Eads, CPP of R. Eads Photography in Schertz, Texas has earned the Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) designation from Professional Photographers of America (PPA). Mr. Eads earned this designation after completing an intensive program that measures his artistic and technical competence. Professional Photographers of America currently recognizes fewer than 2,500 CPPs. Currently there is only 23 CPP within 50 miles of San Antonio. CPPs must complete a written examination, finish an image evaluation and adhere to a strict code of conduct. Certification must be renewed on a periodic basis, ensuring continued confidence in the professionalism of Certified Professional Photographers.
