Sunday Social Touch Rugby
Touch Rugby is a non-contact version of Rugby which is often played as a social sport and used to learn basic Rugby ball handling skills and build field awareness. SD Armada plays Touch Rugby throughout the year, every Sunday at 11am in Balboa Park - at Freedom Park (north-east corner of Balboa Park) at Park Blvd & Zoo Drive. Everyone is welcome to come and try out Touch Rugby, regardless of fitness level, sports experience, male or female. Soccer cleats are advised although running shoes could work. Note:We also have full contact Union 15s practices every Monday & Wednesday 6:30pm - 9pm at Robb Field in Ocean Beach.

What we're about

The San Diego Armada Rugby Football Club is a purposely-inclusive and diverse non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of competitive rugby within San Diego and the Southern California region. We provide a safe and supportive environment where novice level players can learn the game or improve skill alongside some our more experienced players. Our focus is on welcoming under- represented groups, including the gay and minority communities and on fostering the social and community interactions that are a natural outgrowth of team sports. The San Diego Armada is committed to the ethics of mutual respect and consideration, fair and safe play on the pitch and providing a harassment-free sporting environment.
