Hello Fellow Farm Fans,
It is the beginning of apple picking season, so I have arranged for us to have a 2-hour tour of the Apples and Art Orchard.
Due to problems in our past events with no-shows and last minute cancellations, this event is a pre-paid event. You have to pay me before attending the event. RSVP for this event will close Friday night, Sept. 21st. Please read the details below.
Tour and Apple Picking Date: Saturday, Sept. 22nd
Tour Start Time: 12:00 pm
Where: Apples and Art Ochard - 1052 Julian Orchards Dr, Julian, CA
How to RSVP: Please indicate how many people are coming and how many bags you're purchasing.
Cost: $11 (One bag plus Paypal service charge)
The cost covers ONE BAG, which is about 5 lbs of apples that you pick. You only need to purchase one bag right now. You can buy additional bags at the Orchard for $10. Cash only at the Orchard.
When to Pay: Payment is due to me when you RSVP Yes. I will change your RSVP to NO if I don't receive your payment within 24 hours.
How to Pay:
Please use Paypal.
If you have a Paypal account, you can send the payment to [masked]. Select Send Money and then select Personal tab.
If NO Paypal account, please use the bold Paypal link below. This will take you to objectivefc.com Paypal account that can process the payment. Click on the Buy Now button and enter your Name and Apple Orchard in the description and the correct amount.
Call me if you need help putting in the payment.
** I may consider cash if you can meet me when I am in Carmel Valley or PB or Mission Valley. Call me to discuss!
Refunds: NO refunds unless the event is cancelled. If you have paid but cannot make it after all, I would suggest having someone else come in your place. Or, ask someone who is attending to pick your apples for you and drop it off to you at some place. Please email or call me if you opt for either option so I can make sure that person gets your bag.
About the Tour:
I am very excited about this tour at Apples and Art Orchard! The Apples and Art Orchard is family owned and operated, pesticide free and all natural. As the name indicates, the Orchard also has some artwork on display.
The tour runs for 2 hours. Farmer Arlene will first give us a talk about apples, sharing facts, stories, and tidbits. After the talk, she will take us around the Orchard where she will give us some time to pick apples while telling us more about the specific variety/tree. After apple-picking, we will go back to the house where we will learn how to make cider using a hand-crank apple press! Don't worry, you won't need to use the apples that you just picked. Farmer Arlene will provide the apples for the press.
If this sounds fun, please sign up and pay asap.
