So, the first part of this hike will be through Torrey Pines State Park, but as the sun starts to set we will end up at the beach. At this point we will head South along the beach under an 80% full moon at low tide, for a while, then turn back and end up at the 101 to finish. The sun will be setting at 7:22 so the first part will be in daylight.
Important Note: So, it has been brought to my attention that the moon won't be rising until 11:08 that evening, so this will be more of a moonless night hike instead. Make sure you bring your headlamp or stay close to someone who has one 'cause it should be on the beach.
Bring your hiking shoes, headlamp, and maybe a snack and I will see you out there!
P.S. I am thinking about scheduling a trail run through Adventure Fit (http://www.meetup.com/AdventureFit/) before the hike if you are in for some extra work.
