Week 7 - "Peeling the Cosmic Onion", a Journey of Spiritual Transformation
At our last meetup, we explored the deep mysteries of consciousness and what it means to be human. What are the necessary and sufficient causes for consciousness to emerge, and where might our subjective experiences originate? Is our awareness confined exclusively to our material brains?
Having explored several theories on the substance and composition of consciousness, we now turn to the most fundamental question of all: what is reality itself made of? Is it nothing more than an amalgam of space, time, mass and charge, or might there be something more to our wondrous Universe that Science has thus far failed to identify? What if the true nature of reality is even more complex than we can imagine?
Please consider joining us at Ridgetop Coffee & Tea in Sterling, starting at 7:00pm on Wednesday, September 11, as we begin a two-part exploration of the Nature of Reality. Part 1 will cover the physical perspectives on the topic, and Part 2 will delve into the Philosophical perspectives.
Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you on the 11th!
