We love this place so much that it has become our go-to place for decent Cantonese Chinese food on the Westside.

Moon House Chinese Cuisine serves up impressive Hong Kong Cantonese style Chinese food of traditional dishes such as Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Baked Pork Chops w/Peking Sauce, and Sauteed Pork Bellies with Chili Peppers. You will also find the usual Shrimp and Lobster Sauce, a steamed Tilapia Fish, as well as the Chef’s Special Beef Fillet. Hot Pot choices include the Lamb Stew, a boiling broth of braised lamb and paper-thin tofu, and the popular Seafood Combination, a mix of shrimp, scallop, squid, fish, tofu and vegetables in a spicy brown sauce — delectable. Moon House serves the full complement of roast ducks in the kitchen, from the Peking Duck carved at the table and filled into thin buns atop scallions and hoisin sauce to the less expensive Cantonese Roast Duck that is equally good.

Please note that this event will be family-style dining where we will split the bill evenly among the attendees. Most dishes will have meat or shrimp and some may be on the spicy side so if you are a strict vegetarian or vegan or don't care for hot and spicy food, this event may not be for you. Please bring CASH to make the bill settlement easier.

We are limiting the attendance for this event because we won't be able to reserve the big private room that would accommodate more people. Cost per person is estimated at $30-40 each (and probably much less!). Sign up ONLY if you are actually really going to attend this event. DO NOT SIGN UP OR TAKE A SPOT IN CASE YOU MAY WANT TO GO!!!

If you haven't attended our events before, I may contact you before the event to confirm your attendance, so please read your Meetup emails. If I don't hear back from you, I will likely cancel your RSVP and give your spot to someone on the waiting list.

SENSE has not implemented a deposit system to reserve an event spot as many other groups have. Update your RSVP regularly if your plans change. If you cancel 24 hours or less prior to the event, you will be considered a "No Show". Don't be a "No Show" which isn't cool and keep us from implementing a "deposit " or nonrefundable fee system!!

Hope you can join us for some Chinese food on the Westside!
