Ludum Dare 27 Real World Meetup

Once again, the Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment is graciously offering their space to host the real-world meetup of Ludum Dare in the Oakland area!  There will be enough table space, some chairs, a few places to plug in a laptop, and a coffeepot!  Maybe even some video games to play when you are taking a break!

Ludum Dare is a competition of sorts that takes place on the internet.  There are no prizes, just glory, to make a game in 48 hours.  There is the "Competition" (aka "Compo") which is the 48 hour game jam, with stricter rules (all work must be done by yourself, including art, sound, and programming), and the "Jam", in which teams are allowed, you get another 24 hours (but the museum won't be open on Monday), and rules are looser. See for full details.  Join as a member there, and when the competition is over, we will link to your submission!

We will start about 5:00pm Friday and continue on to whenever we manage to shoo you out on Sunday, but it will NOT be open overnights.  Sorry, you have to sleep at home (or elsewhere).

More information will be provided as we get closer to the event.

Hope to see you all there!
