Michael is Senior Managing Director of Investing. Based in Menlo Park, CA, he joined GE in 2012. Michael leads a team that invests in digital infrastructure and enterprise productivity applications. His focus is on the digital transformation of industries. Current investment interests include Industrial IoT, edge computing, digital twin, big data, AL/ML/machine intelligence, and cybersecurity. Previously, he worked at LG Electronics where, he led venture capital and innovation activities. Prior to that, he led the venture capital groups at Orange, 3Com, and IBM.
Managing Director, Honeywell Ventures
Murray Grainger is the Managing Director and Head of Honeywell Ventures. Murray joined Honeywell in 2004 and has served in a number of leadership roles in general management, finance, business development, investor relations, and strategic marketing. His deep expertise in evaluating operations, commercial opportunities and technology road maps gives him a keen ability to identify promising partnership opportunities for Honeywell Ventures. Honeywell Ventures is active across the industrial technologies sector including investments in FogHorn, Element Analytics, IoTium, Soft Robotics, ATTAbotics, Theatro, Parsable, Cesium Astro and Airmap.
David Mount joined Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers in 2008 and is a partner in KPCB’s Green Growth Fund (GGF), which supports young companies leading new markets in sustainable ways. David is focused on software and services investments applicable to the energy and industrials markets. He is currently on the boards of Element Analytics and Choose Energy. Past investments include OSIsoft (shares acquired by SoftBank), ServiceMax (acquired by GE), UpWind Solutions (acquired by Vestas), SilverSpring Networks (SSNI) and Opower (acquired by Oracle). Prior to KPCB, David developed his principal investing expertise at Bain Capital Credit, a $20B structured finance unit of Bain Capital.

Phoebe focuses on mobility, alternative energy, and enabling technology in oil and gas industry. Phoebe has over a decade experience in structuring deals, primary and secondary market investment and ventures. She also spent 2 years in building a start-up in technology commercialization. Phoebe is a Charterholder of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), with an MBA concentrated in Energy and Finance, and a BSc in Engineering.
