March event: Why is it so hard to find good people?

From: Sasha
Sent on: Tuesday, March 9, 2010 5:15 PM
Hello everyone,

I'm very excited about our March 30 event that's all about identifying, hiring, managing and firing employees. If you're ever wondered why it's so hard to find good people to join your company or why you waited so long to fire the underperformer, this is the event for you!

Our guest will be Brian Helmick, founder of Algentis, an HR services firm that offers an integrated service to offload HR/payroll/benefits/insurance.

Come learn how to:

? Meet your goals for hiring, managing and firing while knowing the legal do?s and don?ts
? Identify the right candidate
? Convince the right candidate to accept the offer
? Ensure you hire slowly and fire quickly (when most of us do the opposite)
? Determine when to coach vs. when to fire
? Best handle the termination discussion and process
