"Small Bites" Training for Any Size Dog
Individual Training in a Shared Experience. ONLY ONE DOG WORKS AT A TIME. THE OTHERS WAIT IN THE CAR. The whole group of humans and canines gets to learn from each others' dogs AND it becomes very affordable. We learn to be present, be ready and get a rhythm of ourselves as a group. Each dog might only run a few minutes at a time and then gets to rest and think about what they did well and good. This is why we call it "Small Bites." FEE STRUCTURE: We share the fee so that it can be an affordable, consistent experience. David Crosby's fee is $100 for the session. So if five of us show up, it is only $20/each. Your dog gets a chance to work, and rest, and you learn and absorb from others. If only two of us show up, we can break the session into 1/2 hour so you end up only paying $25. You are invited to drop in or RSVP here or call David at[masked] (good to give him a call if you are brand new; he can answer questions ahead of time for you). LOCATION: 2911 Cerrillos Road, next to CVS and by Raby Home Solutions. INSTRUCTIONS: Please bring your dog hungry, and bring cut up hot dogs or ham or a slippery treat (easier for them to eat if they don't have to chew) or their favorite treat. It's also good to have a martingale collar and water. Come, have fun, and grow a confident, coordinated companion and meet new friends.

What we're about

This meetup is mainly for folks who are very interested in deep interaction with dogs, and for dog trainers and folks who wish to become dog trainers.

This is meetup group started because of a very awesome dog trainer in Santa Fe named David Crosby who has touched the lives of some of us two- and four-legged creatures. Please visit his websites:
http://www.Wabniaq-k9.com and www.SafetyDogsNM.com and FB page: https://www.facebook.com/Wabniaq-K9-and-Safety-Dogs-of-New-Mexico-300063977239246/

We offer a free monthly presentation (generally at LaFarge Public Library) about topics related to dog communications, dog health, training and socialization as well as an opportunity for members to create groups

If meeting and playing "Find it" and "Search" with our dogs, and taking the relationship to another level jazzes you, this may be the tribe for you. Formal training is really, really beneficial and this group recognizes and recommends David Crosby of Wabniaq-k9, LLC (505-577-2310). (His site is www.Wabniaq-k9.com).

With love and exploring the nature of "woof"!
