The Maggie Mcgarry's derby

Good morning folks.

Lot's of football again this weekend with big games affecting the top and bottom on Saturday and Sunday. The early game on Saturday has Man United taking on Aston Villa at Old Trafford. It appears that some of the United faithful have had enough of David Moyes and have chipped in to fly a "Moyes Out"banner over the stadium before the game.A bit rough in my opinion. You should give any manager at least a season to put his ideas into place but it seems that big losses to Chelsea,Liverpool and their hated rivals City last week are enough for the United fans who only know success.Following Fergie was a job that I would not have wanted.

The late game on Saturday is Man City travelling to The Emirates to face Arsenal.Arsenals title challenge seemed to vanish in 4 days with their 6-0 smashing by Chelsea last Saturday followed up by their 2-2 draw to Swansea on Tuesday.A loss to City and they will be really looking over their shoulders at Everton who now are talking 4th place! They were title favourites not too long ago and now the "Wenger out"cries are trickling in again.Football fans can be fickle

.The reason this weekend is called the "Maggie Mcgarry's derby"is that the bar houses 2 supporters clubs as well as a general meet-up."The Bay Area Gooners" have their counterparts"The San Francisco Man City Blues"heavily outnumbered with bodies at the bar on weekends but bragging rights go deeper than that so this Saturdays match up should be very vocal to say the least.I have heard they have a"trophy"of sorts between the 2 heads which now currently resides with the City boys after City beat Arsenal earlier this year 6-3.A great game awaits.
